Your AHHS Alumni Association is thrilled to announce the completion and publication of the first ever Alumni Directory in 2010.  The Association has spent several years working on this project which will enable graduates to more easily locate and communicate with fellow graduates.  Our sincere thanks to all of you who purchased copies and therefore supported this effort!

Information on every class to graduate since 1925 (yes, even for the few years AHHS was called Stripling High School! see History) was collected.  Graduation programs for all of those years were scanned from the originals located in the safe at AHHS.  Old school directories were collected.  The Alumni Association database of about 12,000 names and addresses was used as a base.

The Harris Connect Company was interviewed, researched, and finally contracted with to publish the

directory.  Many other colleges and universities as well as high schools were on their list of satisfied past customers – including the Paschal Alumni Association, for example.  And, after much research and personal contact with graduates over the past year, the Harris Company has compiled a book (also in CD format) listing graduates by last name, by class and geographically.  This information will be for official School and Alumni Association use, and also for individual communication of a personal nature among alumni listed in the book.  It is not to be used for any private, commercial or political mailing under copyright laws.

Your Alumni Association paid Harris nothing for this service. Their only income from the project came from sales of the directory or the CD to alums.  In return, your Alumni Association received access to the entire final database.  And, by the end of April 2010, there will be a space available on our website for each of you to update your own information as it changes, to add pictures and other information (similar to FaceBook), so that we can all maintain contact with each other.

We will be able to use this information in the database, for example, to provide Reunion Committees with current lists of names and addresses of graduates from that specific year.  We can send mass e-mails, updates and newsletters and to you.  We can send invitations to All Class Reunions.  We can stay in touch...
