The AHHS Alumni Association has been fortunate to provide scholarships to two deserving AHHS graduating senior students each year since 1997, due to your  support.   This scholarship money is given directly to the school, college or university of the recipient's choice to help them with tuition in furthering their education.   
Seniors planning to pursue a college education or further their vocational training are eligible to apply for this scholarship.  The scholarships are awarded to one female and one male from the graduating class.  Service, leadership and financial need are some of the criteria used in the selection process.  You must rank in the top half of your graduating class to be eligible.

Students pick up our application forms in the AHHS Counselor’s Office.  A committee of Alumni Association officers then reads the completed forms and together selects the recipients.  

The recipients are announced at the AHHS Awards Ceremony, typically held in May in the school auditorium.  This special event is a chance to highlight the accomplishments of many Heights students and for various groups to publicly present their scholarships and honors to deserving students.  Parents and guests are encouraged to attend to celebrate with their students.
