We're Glad You're Here!
Welcome to the new era of the AHHS Alumni Association! We recognize that we are now a global community, inspired and connected in ways never imagined when we set sail on our life ships for all the ports we’ve lived in and visited since high school. Wow! What an unexpected journey each of us has taken!

Welcome to the Official AHHS Alumni Association Website!
We are looking for volunteers from alumni all over the world. Most of these are 'virtual' jobs and can be done from anywhere. We welcome your participation! There are 'project' jobs (one-timers) and 'recurring' jobs (year-long or six-month-long opportunities). Some 'project' jobs: a) find one representative for each class -- you'll need good detective skills to do this one; b) find 'decade reps' to funnel information to and from the class reps -- you'll need persuasive and organizational skills for this; c) job-namer - you'll need creativity to do this -- the old titles of 'officers' of our organization don't fit any more and the new titles aren't fun enough. They need to be updated; can you help?; d) scholarship winner list - more detective work needed! Be sure the list is complete and find any who are missing. Some 'recurring' jobs: a) Twitter captain - tweet at least once a week; b) Facebook captain - respond to Facebook requests and post news at least 3 times a week; c) website editor - post articles and see that news is current and compelling; d) website proofreader - remember your grammar! Help us be sure we remember ours!; e) website newshound - bring news tips to the website staff; write articles; f) website photo guru - some technical sense is needed as well as layout sense as this job is about loading photos on this website -- we'll train you!; g) activities bzzzzer - post class activities, stay aware of what's going on in the alumni community; h) website team - work with others to ensure the vibrancy of this site -- all sorts of skills are needed: a sense of fun and responsibility would be an excellent starting point. We can teach you the technology; i) funds manager - keep track of monies and be terrific and timely with reporting; j) "and THEN what happened?" newshound - write stories following up on our alumni to get "the rest of the story" .... Of course, there are plenty of projects you can name and do yourself. See a need? Then you are probably the one to fill it! We'll help you get a team if you need one to support you. Contact our response team to volunteer. Join Us! Help us support our scholarships and this great new website!
